BaseCamp Reopening Information (2YR-1st Grade Kid's Worship)

Hello parents!

We are so excited to begin offering BaseCamp again this coming Sunday, July 12th for our 2 year olds-1st grade. BaseCamp IS going to look different than before. Everything we’ve planned we have done so with your kid’s safety in mind, but at the end of the day if you are not comfortable sending your child to BaseCamp that is absolutely okay.  In addition, we are adhering to similar CDC guidelines being followed by UCC Preschool. However,  we will continue to offer our Sunday Morning Videos online for ALL ages. Below is what you can expect on Sunday morning.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know and we will do our best to address them.

  • Check In
    • Please download the KidCheck app and utilize our mobile check in. This will allow for a quick check in process.
    • If you do not use the mobile check-in, the Check In station will be located in the preschool foyer.
    • We will have a health screened volunteer typing in phone numbers for everyone. This will insure that we do not have multiple people touching the same keyboard.
    • We will provide hand sanitizer at the check in station. Please have your child use the sanitizer before coming to BaseCamp. If you are not comfortable with them using the sanitizer please walk them to the bathroom to have them wash their hands.
    • Please do not have your child attend BaseCamp if they have any symptoms or are not feeling well.
  • Drop Off
    • Once you have checked in your child, please walk them to the elementary door where Jeffery or myself will then walk them to BaseCamp in the Blue/Yellow Room.
    • We (Jeffery and I) will both be screened every Sunday morning including temperature checks and a short questionnaire.
    • Parents will not be allowed in the elementary building to limit the amount of adult contact with the children and to discourage gatherings of parents and kids in our BaseCamp area. (UCC Preschool also uses a similar practice).
  • BaseCamp
    • We will be meeting in the Blue/Yellow Room of the Elementary Building.
    • Each child will have a designated spot in the room that will be socially distanced from the other children. We are going to make this fun and as normalized as possible!
    • We will not be offering snacks.
    • All crafts will be prepackaged.
    • All physical activities will meet the guidelines for social distancing.
  • Pick Up
    • When you pick up your child, you will bring your security tag to the door of the Elementary building where a health screened volunteer will meet you and bring you your child.

We know this is different than our typical BaseCamp, but it will continue to be a fun and engaging time for the children. Our plan is to resume Nursery in August to coincide with the opening of TCS schools.
Thank you for being patient with us as we figure out what it looks like moving forward! We are thankful to partner with you all as you raise your children to Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.
