Tom helps coordinate the various ministries at UCC including community groups, adult education and serves as our worship minister. He also works with new/existing members to find their purpose and ministry at University. Tom received his undergraduate education at Mississippi State University and Harding University. He has served in ministry since 1990 as youth, worship, and involvement minister at churches in Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi, Indiana, and Alabama. Tom and his wife, Susan, have two sons: Reed and Ryan.

Sandy Graham

Sandy is a retired elementary school teacher and a longtime member of our University Family. She has served as Children's Minister since 2004. She and Andy have one son, Jamey, married to Laura, and one grandson, Stone.

Jeffery comes to UCC from Vernon, Alabama. He has been a member of the UCC Family since his undergraduate study at The University of Alabama in 1989. He holds a B.S. Degree and a M.A. Degree in Elementary Education and he is certified in administration and supervision. He has worked in the Children's MInistry at UCC for over a decade. Jeffery's main involvement at UCC is with Adventure Ridge (the K-4th Grade children's program).

Scott and Julie were married in 1998 and now have 3 children: Bella, Lincoln and Ruby. Scott grew up in northwest MS at the Senatobia church of Christ. After graduating from Harding University in Searcy, AR he spent four years as the youth minister at the Fairview Heights Church in the St. Louis Metro Area, and 8 years at the Meadowbrook Church in Jackson, MS where he also received a Masters Degree from Harding School of Theology in Memphis, TN. Scott began as the Youth Minister at University Church in August of 2011.

Duane Dixon

Duane and Jenny married in 1997 and they have 4 children: Noah, Micah, Sophia, and Selah. He was born and raised in southwestern Virginia. After some time at Freed Hardeman University, Duane completed his degree in Civil Engineering at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. After a few years of working in his field, he entered into full-time campus ministry at TTU and was there from 1999 to 2006. After two years in other ventures of ministry and small business, Duane came to the University Church in the summer of 2008 to work again in campus ministry. |
Andrea Zahler

Andrea was born in Atlanta, Georgia. After receiving B.A.s in English and Vocational Ministry from Harding University in 2004, she left the United States for China. In Wuhan, Hubei, she worked as an English professor at Jiang Han University. On returning to the States, she became the UCM Capstone Intern here at UCC. She earned her M.A. from Lipscomb University in May 2009 and began working full-time for UCC's student ministries in June 2009.

Marcus Brown
Marcus is a faculty member in the Computer Science Department at the University of Alabama. He was appointed an Elder in 1996. He and Carol have two sons, Titus and Noah and one daughter, Alycia.

Jay Guin
Jay is a practicing attorney with Tanner & Guin, LLC. Jay became an Elder in 2003. He and Denise have four sons: Chris, Jonathan, Tyler, and Philip.

Kelley Riley
Kelley and his wife Judy are currently employed at Tusco Fence, Inc. Kelley became an elder at University Church in April 2007. He and Judy have three daughters: Jennifer, married to Clay Daniel; Laura, married to Jamey Graham; and Beth, married to Clay Hester. |
Doug Key

Doug and his wife Jackie own and operate the Gingerbread Children's Center in Northport. He also serves as Facilities Director for our building. Doug became an elder at University Church in April 2007. He and Jackie have one daughter, Jessica, married to Tommy Logan who is serving in the USAF.
